Who we are and what we do
The Care Academy is a partnership between all care providers in North Tyneside including the local authority, the NHS, social care providers, the voluntary sector and local schools and colleges.
Care providers in North Tyneside support people aged 18 years or over who are vulnerable or at risk. This includes older people and people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and those with mental health needs.
