About the Role
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team and provide high-quality care and support to individuals in need. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting people with their daily living needs, promoting their independence, and enhancing their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding if necessary
- Support with medication administration (if trained and required)
- Encourage and support independence and social engagement
- Help with mobility and the use of aids and equipment
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Ensure the dignity, privacy, and respect of service users at all times
Requirements
- No previous experience required – full training provided
- A compassionate and patient nature
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to undertake relevant training and development
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
